Venue Requirements
Everything we need
to make it seamless.
Planning your event shouldn't involve a long checklist. These are the simple venue requirements that help us arrive, set up and get your booth ready without disrupting your event.
Our minimum setup area. Around 3m × 3m is ideal for comfortable guest movement and queues.
Enough overhead clearance for the backdrop, lighting and complete booth setup.
A standard 10amp power point within approximately 5m of the booth. We bring our own leads and secure them safely.
We recommend access at least 60 minutes before guests arrive. Setup generally takes 30–45 minutes.
Flat, level surface
Indoor spaces are ideal. Grass and gravel can also work with advance notice so we can prepare accordingly.
Easy access
Let us know about stairs, lifts or long carries. A nearby loading bay or parking spot makes setup much smoother.
Outdoor events
Outdoor setups require overhead cover and protection from direct sun, rain and strong wind.
No Wi-Fi required
Booth processing happens on-device. Network access is only required for features such as live casting or certain sharing options.
Make it visible
Position the booth near the bar, dance floor or main guest area. Visibility is one of the biggest drivers of participation.
Printing setup
If your package includes prints, allow a little additional room beside the booth for the printer, props and guest collection area.

Common questions
Can AI themes be customised to our brand?
Yes. Every theme can carry your logo, colours and campaign design, and we can build themes from scratch to your brief. Borders, overlays and the images guests are swapped into are all customisable. Custom work is built and tested before the event day — confirm at least 7 days out.
Can we set up custom AI themes or use our own images?
Two options. Submit custom AI prompts before the event and we'll build bespoke themes to your brief, or send us your own images — branded backdrops, campaign photography, product visuals — and we run face swaps directly against them. All custom setups are tested before the event day.
Does the booth work without venue wifi?
Yes. All AI processing, face swap and background removal work completely offline on-device. Guests can also share via QR code without internet.
Can it display photos on a big screen at the event?
Yes. We can cast a live slideshow of guest AI photos to any TV or screen via AirPlay or Chromecast. This is the one feature that needs a network connection, so let us know in advance and we'll arrange it with the venue.
Can guests get physical prints at the event?
Yes, as an optional add-on. We use a professional DNP dye-sublimation printer to produce high-quality 6×4" branded prints in under 15 seconds, each with your custom overlay.
How many guests can use it at once?
1–7 guests per photo. Each photo is ready in under 30 seconds so throughput is fast — ideal for large events with hundreds of guests.
How much space do you need?
2m × 2m at minimum, with 2.4m of ceiling clearance and a standard power point within 5m. 3m × 3m is more comfortable once a queue forms. If you're tight on space, send us a photo of the spot and we'll tell you whether it works.
Does it capture leads automatically?
Yes. Guests enter their name, email and phone to receive their photo — lead capture is built into the natural flow. A full data export is provided after the event.
How long is the gallery available after the event?
6 months. A full copy of every photo and video is also delivered to you after the event for your own use.
